- The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) intends to issue a sole source solicitation to Raytheon Company, Integrated Defense Systems (Raytheon IDS), 528 Boston Post Road, Sudbury Massachusetts 01776, for Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00024-13-G-5105. The purpose of this BOA is to provide materials and services for the AEGIS MK 99 Fire Control System, Transmitter Groups for AN/SPY-1A/B/B(V)/D/D(V), Kill Assessment System and ancillary equipment, as required by USN, MDA, and FMS. Orders may be issued for the evaluation, implementation, and proofing of equipment changes, related engineering services and repairs, modifications/alterations, overhauls, refurbishment, life-of-type procurement of parts and manufacturing of assemblies to support Diminishing Manufacturing Sources (DMS) case resolution, and maintenance and support of the AEGIS MK 99 Fire Control System, AN/SPY-1A/B/B(V)/D/D(V) Transmitter Groups and ancillary equipment. Orders may also be issued for studies, analyses, evaluation and testing, training, preparation and/or updates of Documentation (drawings, manuals, and instructions), repair parts, components, accessories, associated tools and necessary packing, packaging and marking. Pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304 (c)(1), this procurement will be sole source to Raytheon IDS. Parties interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact Raytheon directly. Notice: The proposed contract action is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received within forty-five days (thirty days if award is issued under an existing basic ordering agreement) after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
