- The Agency requires the construction and installation of the JUNEAU INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT (JNU) RUNWAY 08 ™s MEDIUM INTERSITY APPROACH LIGHT SYSTEM (MALS), 08 LEAD IN LIGHTS (LDIN), with the option of installing a RUNWAY 26 PRECISON APPROACH PATH INDICATOR (PAPI), and RUNWAY END IDENTIFIER LIGHTS (REIL) in Juneau, Alaska. In general, this contract requires the following: Site layout. Installation of foundations. Installation of any associated duct banks. Installation of shelters or structures. Installation of the incoming power service and communications. Site work. Inspection and cleanup. This is a SMALL BUSINESS SET-ASIDE. Businesses must be a small business in accordance with the following NAICS CODE: 238210 Electrical Contractors and Other Wiring Installation Contractors This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
