- Description
- J&A for solicitation SPM4A613R0007 PR 0028842408. This solicitation will contain NSN 5841-01-517-5585, Cathod Ray Light Filter. Request for Proposal SPM4A6-13-R-0007, is for a Firm Fixed Price, Definite Quantity Contract for a quantity of 80 each. Solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. The requested delivery will be 227 DARO based on market research and production lead time estimate. Conditionally approved source is Centroid, Inc. (CAGE 21856), P/N 3705AS198. Centroid is conditionally approved to manufacture this material pending successful completion of production lot testing of two units. Testing of the filter material shall be conducted in accordance with (30003) 3705AS247 paragraph 3.8. The test may be performed by outside sources with test results verified by the local DCMA representative. NSN is not a Critical Safety Item per SAP review on October 23, 2012. NSN is not a commercial item. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. A Subcontracting Plan is not required. Formal Cost and Pricing Data is not required. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Progress Payments are not included as conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on October 24, 2012. Solicitation issue date is November 8, 2012. Solicitation closing date is December 10, 2012. The estimated award date is January 2, 2013.
