Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. This is a notice of intent to award a purchase order to a single source under the Federal Acquisition Regulation authority specified at 13.106-1(b)(1)(i) Contracting officers may solicit from one source if the contracting officer determines that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available (e.g., urgency, exclusive licensing agreements, brand-name or industrial mobilization). The 99th Medical Group requires a onetime repair for the Hologic Selenia mammography unit, serial number 28408106076W located at Mike O' Callaghan Federal Medical Center. The repair must be in accordance with the manufactures specifications to include all required parts and verification testing as set forth in the equipment operation manuals. The contractor must be certified to work on and repair this equipment IAW FDA standard. The 99th Contracting Squadron intends to satisfy this requirement by making a single source award to Hologic, Inc, 35 Crosby Drive, Bedford, MA 01730. The contracting officer has determined that the circumstances of the contract action deem only one source reasonably available.
