Description

The Memphis VA Medical Center-Information Resource Management has a requirement for continuation of existing routine monthly recurring telecommunications services for 100 Metro-E Service. The NAICS code for this requirement is 334210; this service will continue to provide data, voice and stream faxing for the ancillary buildings. The Memphis VA Medical Center intends to sole source this purchase to Time Warner Telecom Inc. The Government believes that Time Warner Telecom Inc is the only Source since existing ancillary equipment is in place which provides continuity of service. This is a sole source under the authority of 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(1), pursuant to FAR 6.302-1. Any firm that can fulfill this requirement should provide written notification to the Contract Officer no later than 12:00Noon E.S.T. by March 4, 2012. Supporting evidence must be presented in sufficient detail. Submit statement of capability and supporting evidence to Cinnamon Washington via email at Cinnamon.Washington@va.gov. No telephone requests will be honored. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the VA will proceed with the sole source negotiations to Time Warner Telecom Inc.
