Description

Justification for Other Than Full and Open Competition The U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Acquisition Management (OAQ) intends to solicit and negotiate a Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This synopsis is being published for informational purposes only. The proposed North American Industry Classification System Code (NAICS) for this procurement is 332994 (Small Arms Manufacturing) and the size standard is 1,000 employees. The proposed source is Remington Arms Company, 870 Remington Drive, Madison, NC 27025-0700. The BOA will establish a 5 year agreement comprised of a base year and four (4) one year options for Remington Arms Company original equipment manufacturer (OEM) weapons parts. The solicitation will NOT be available electronically via the Government Point of Entry (GPE) at www.fbo.gov. No written, telephonic, facsimile, e-mail or other type of request for the solicitation will be accepted. A request for proposal is anticipated to be requested from only one source on or about March 7, 2013.
