Description

This notice is to serve as a Pre solicitation Notice to vendors who have the capabilities to manufacture and deliver Bread and Bakery Products. The Bread and Bakery products shall be delivered to Nutrition & Food Service (N&FS) and Veterans Canteen Service (VCS) for Overton Brooks VA Medical Center - Shreveport, Louisiana. Vendor shall provide necessary labor, material, equipment and supervision necessary to provide the delivery. This will be commercial item procurement under FAR Part 12, "Acquisition of Commercial Items", and FAR Part 13, "Simplified Acquisition Procedures". Your response to the request for proposal must contain all requested pricing and non pricing information in accordance with the solicitation/contract terms, conditions, and provisions. It is anticipated that the contract awarded will be for a six (6) month base period and four (4) one year option periods exercisable at the discretions of the government. This procurement will be full and open competition to all business under NAICS code 311812. All Vendors MUST be registered and in good standing with the following: SAM (www.sam.gov) for CCR/FedReg, ORCA, and EPLS D&B (www.dnb.com) Vets 100 (www.vets100.com) Vet Biz (www.vetbiz.gov) *If veteran owned business It is anticipated the solicitation will be posted on or about March 18, 2013, under solicitation number VA-256-13-R-0090 and will contain the detailed requirements for this acquisition. The solicitation package along with any amendments will only be provided electronically through the Government's Point of Entry. Once you have read the solicitation document in its entirety, questions should be submitted via email to susie.cooper@va.gov no later than five (5) Business days after issuance of solicitation.
