- This Special Notice is being posted to provide interested parties with an updated DRAFT Statement of Work (SOW) and DRAFT Specification. The Government's intention is to compete this effort under the PEO STRI Omnibus Contract (STOC) II, Lot 1. The Government will continue to provide information under FEDBIZOPPS for the purposes of teaming or subcontracting opportunities. After consideration of industry feedback, the following changes were made to the AMITS DRAFT SOW and DRAFT Specification: AMITS DRAFT SOW 1. NET training now includes the LCCS HITS Mobile Training Team 2. ICS has been restructured 3. The delivery of FIPS 140-2 and Remote Configuration Management is now extended past the first AMITS fielding to Ft Carson to allow sufficient time to complete this effort. AMITS DRAFT Specification 1. The Player Radio Unit interfaces are - Wired : Ethernet and RS 232 - Wireless: LPAN and Bluetooth 2. Player Radio Unit minimum CPU performance defined 3. The radio must cover a minimum of 70% of the 225 MHz to 379 MHz band. The current thought is that a Player Radio Unit can be assembled to and subpart of this spectrum range and not tunable across the full 70% in real time. Comments are welcomed on this. 4. Defined that the battery shall use the land warrior battery type charger. 5. AMITS will modify the HITS 3.x baseline to account for - Hardware configuration for the TCC - Gateway to the Range Radio System - Extension of the HITS 3.x non-persistent remote log in to support the AMITS requirement - It in envisioned that AMITS will only change a select number of LT2 components; All changes will be vetted through the CPM governance process and may be denied. Concerns or comments on the current DRAFT SOW and/or DRAFT Specification shall be due no later than close of business 15 March 2013.
