- Approved Amendment toJustification and Approval for work performed under PS09. Approved Justification and Approval for work performed under PS09. The United States General Services Administration, Public Building Service, Northwest Arctic Region, Design and Construction Division awarded task order modifications PS09 and PS10, on a sole source basis, under the authority of S ection 303J of the Federal Property and Administrative Services Act of 1949, Federal Acquisition Regulations Subsection 16.505 (b)(2)(i) (A) and (C), exception to Fair Market Opportunity Under Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity Contracts and 41 U.S.C. 253 (c)(2) as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) Subsection 6.302-2 as there is unusual and compelling urgency and delay in award of a contract would result in serious injury, financial or other, to the Government. Modifications were awarded to Randolph Construction Services, Inc. located at 1992 Saint Street, Suite B, Richland, WA 99354. The aggregate total of both modifications was $230,434.00. The modifications was necessary to address differing site conditions found during construction. Ten additional urgent repairs were identified as shown in the approved Justification and Approval. One of the repairs had to be changed as the damage had become to severe for the original type repair, as noted in the approved amendment to the Justification and Approval. It was determined that new work was both urgent and compelling and would lead to unacceptable delays a and building shutdown, in the event of anticipated snow events occurred. Additionally, In the interest of economy and efficiency, the work is also a logical follow-on addition to the originally competed work that was award under above mentioned task order.
