- Need: The VA Pittsburgh Healthcare System has a need for a requirements contract for as-needed radiopharmaceuticals (including onsite delivery) for the University Drive Medical Center Nuclear Medicine Department located at the VA Medical Center, 30 University Dr., Pittsburgh, PA 15240-1000. Purpose of Notice: This is a sources-sought request to identify prospective vendors capable of fulfilling the requirements as further described below: Requirements: Radiopharmaceuticals (all-inclusive) needed are: PYP vials, GA-67, I-131 therapy caps, I-131 non-therapy caps, I-123 caps 100uCi, I-123 caps 200uCi, I-123 MIBG, Tc-MAA, Tc-MDP, Tc-040Muga, Tc-04-Bulk, Tc-MAG3, ACD Solution, Tc-DTPA IV, Tc-DTPA Aerosol, Tc-SC, Tc-Hepatolite, Tc-Cardiolite, Tc-Myoview, Octreoscan, In-111 WBC, In-DTPA, Tc-Ceretec, T1-201, Sr-89 Therapy, Sm-153 Therapy, Sinclide, Tc-DMSA, Zevalin Therapy, Ultratag. Delivery Requirements: Orders will be placed by phone directly from the Nuclear Medicine Department to the Contractor and will generally require onsite delivery by the contractor within 24 hours, including weekends, and if needed, same day or even within 1-2 hours. There is no shipping or mailing of these items. Delivery is by Contractor's authorized courier directly to Nuclear Medicine. This Notice: This notice is not for competitive quotes but rather to identify sources capable of meeting the general contract requirements stated above. Responses should be sent to Contracting Officer jeffrey.greis@va.gov no later than 1600 ET, 3/08/13 and include a capability statement, socioeconomic status (i.e., large business, small business, SDVOSB, etc.) and any supporting literature. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) number is 446110 with a small business size standard of $25.5 million. Socioeconomic status must be verifiable in SAM (www.sam.gov) and SDVOSB or VOSB status verifiable in VetBiz (Vendor Information Pages). No solicitation document is yet available. Information received will be for the sole purpose of determining the method and manner of a competitive procurement. The determination of the method and manner based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the VAPHS Contracting Officer.
