- **Drawing of Tie Angle added** **Clarification on #4AWG Copper Wire, Solid-- THIS IS SOFT DRAWN SOLID COPPER** This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested in response to this notice and a written solicitation will NOT be issued. This solicitation is being issued as a Request for Quote (RFQ) DE-SOL0005353. This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-66. This is a small business set-aside under NAICS 335999 with a small business size standard of 500 Emp. This RFQ contains One (1) line item. The line item description is as follows: CLIN 0001 ? Materials FOR NERC ALERT PHASE 2 (full spreadsheet is attached for ease of submission). Delivery locations are noted in the spreadsheet. DELIVERY BY June 1, 2013 is required. All proposals must be FOB Destination. All proposals must include a proposed delivery date. DELIVERY IS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY ONLY. NO FRIDAY DELIVERIES WILL BE ACCEPTED. PROVISIONS: The following FAR provisions apply to this solicitation: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-2 Evaluation -- Commercial Items (completed as follows): (a) The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered.
