- ADS PWS - McChord ADS PWS - Dyess ADS PWS - Charleston ADS PWS - Pope This synopsis is issued for informational and planning purposes only. The Air Force is researching the feasibility of acquiring services from a contractor to provide Aerial Delivery Services (ADS) in support of Air Mobility Command (AMC) Air Crew training requirements at at Joint Base Charleston, Pope Army Air Field, Dyess AFB, and Joint Base Lewis-McChord (JBLM), for one month (1 Apr 13 – 30 Apr 13), with a one-month option (1 May 13 – 31 Mar 13). ADS requires aerial delivery riggers, certified by the U.S. Army Quartermaster Corp, to prepare and inspect aerial delivery platforms (ADPs), inspect and pack/re-pack cargo parachutes, prepare extraction line panels, and build ballast pallets. At Dyess AFB the contractor also loads ADPs on aircraft to ensure an on-time departure and off load ADPs that did not drop upon aircraft return. The contractor performs DZ/LZ recovery operations at all locations ensuring ADPs are returned and re-rigged for future use. The contractor must have all positions in place at all locations by the 01 Apr 13 start date. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 488119 and the small business size standard is $30M.
