THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR BID/PROPOSAL. THE GOVERNMENT IS SEEKING INFORMATION FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY. The Wilmington VA Medical Center Contracting Office,1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE is conducting market research for the following small business programs: Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB), Women Owned Small Business (WOSB), Historically Underutilized Business Zone (HUBZone), Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB) and Small Business (SB) to obtain Elevator Inspections Services, as described below in the Scope of Work at the VA Medical Center, 1601 Kirkwood Highway, Wilmington, DE by means of a firm fixed price contract. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 333921 with a size standard of 500 employees. Small Business programs who are interested in performing this service as a prime contractor should e-mail Robert.Copper@va.gov (CO) and/or Vance.Sample@va.gov (COR) to notify the Government of your interest in this Elevator Inspections Service. If a contract is ultimately awarded for the work described herein, small business programs who would work as the prime contractor are required to perform at least 51 percent of the cost of the contracts with its own employees. Subject line of e-mail should read "MARKET RESEARCH/ELEVATOR MAINTENACE" Specify what small business program you qualify for, i.e. SDVOSB or VOSB, etc. Please state if you are certified in www.vetbiz.gov or www.sam.gov for the small business program. Responses are due no later than 12:00PM, EST, March 14, 2013.
