- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Please review the attached documents with this notice. All questions should be addressed in writing to John Fitzsimmons, Contract Specialist at john.fitzsimmons@us.army.mil. Questions shall be submitted not later than 1300 hours on 14 March 2013. Only one set of questions shall be received, numerous emails shall not be accepted. Proposals are due not later than 1300 hours, 22 March 2013. Proposals may be electronically submitted to john.fitzsimmons@us.army.mil; subject line: 13-77424 Please provide your proposal in.PDF format. The firewall utilized for Fort Detrick, MD, does not authorize or accept zip files. It is anticipated that a Firm Fixed Price order will be awarded for a base year with a one year option period. The Federal Acquisition Regulation Clause 52.232-18 Availability of Funds applies to this procurement.
