- Clark's Bay/Devil'sElbow Recreation Sites Water System Improvements - Helena, MT area The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), Western Montana District, intends to award a Purchase Order to furnish labor, equipment, supplies, and materials to complete water system improvements to include, but are not limited to: *Installation of two new variable frequency drive (VFD) control systems for the new well pumps. *Removal and replacement of two well pumps, drop pipes, and associated appurtenances. *Installation of two new liquid sodium hypochlorite disinfection systems *Installation of two new buried contact chambers for disinfection systems (12" C900 PVC). *Miscellaneous piping and reconfigurations to accommodate the disinfection systems and contact chambers. *Installation of two new flow meters *Miscellaneous electrical work Job location is Devil;s Elbow Campground and Clark's Bay Day Use Site, Lewis and Clark County, Montana. Stipulations for Performance Time & Site Closure: The Contractor shall accomplish the work in forty- five (45) Calendar Days within the given performance time of May 13, 2013 through June 27, 2013 Estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. A 100% payment protection will be required for contracts greater than $30,000.00. Payment protection can be submitted by an Irrevocable Letter of Credit, Certificate of Deposit, or Payment Bond, and is due within 10 days after award. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 237110. The small business standard is $33.5 million. This procurement is being advertised as total Small Business Set Aside. Information on the Site Tour will be posted in the Solicitation. The Solicitation, L13PS00261, is tentatively scheduled to be available on or about March 22, 2013 at "https://www.fedconnect.net/FedConnect. No hard copies of the solicitation will be issued. Response dates for quotes is tentatively scheduled for April 22, 2013. All reasonable sources may submit a quote. Please check the solicitation for all required documentation to be submitted. Prospective contractors MUST be registered in SAM, System for Award Management and Online Representations and Certifications (ORCA) prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM and ORCA databases will make an offeror ineligible for award.
