Description

THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. No solicitation will be issued. This is a notice of intent to award a sole source contract in accordance to FAR 6.302-1(a)(2), authorized or required by statue. This is one time procurement. The VISN 10 Network Contracting Office intends to award a sole source porcurement with with Illumina Customer Solutions to purchase: Spare Configured Computer, Model # 301840S and one (1) year warranty. This system must be configured to meet the Illumina Specifications already in place in order to maintain compatibility with the existing system and equipment. The procurement will be for the VAMC Cincinnati, Ohio. The estimated amounted is $3,222.00. The Government believes that Illumina Customer Solutions is the only company that can satisfy the agency requirements. Therefore, the Government intends to proceed with a sole source procurement for the required equipment. To the best of our knowledge, Illumina Customer Solutions is the only source that can provide the above indicated items and features to remain compatible with the existing equipment already in place. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 541711 and the size standard is 500 employees. This is not a request for proposals; however, an interested party may e-mail a written capability statement for these required items, which shall not exceed two (2) pages in length. A technical brochure shall be included as well. Interested parties may submit their capability statement, which may or may not be considered by the agency via email to ronald.heidemann@va.gov no later than 4:00 PM EDT on March 13, 2013. If no responses are received, the VISN 10 Network Contracting Office will proceed with sole source procurement with Illumina
