Description
This Federally Administered project is being contemplated for set-aside under the following categories: Indian Owned Business, Economically Disadvantaged Women Owned Small Business, Women Owned Small Business, HUBZone Small Business, 8(a) Small Business, Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business and Small Business. The information sought is part of the market survey being conducted to determine the extent of interest based on above listed business status. The scope of work contained within this project is currently as follows: The Tulalip Tribes and the Indian Health Service have partnered on a project to construct a new sewage lift station and to bring the non-functioning treatment track of an existing wastewater treatment facility back into full operation. This project includes replacement of an existing lift station located adjacent to the treatment facility with a new 1200 gpm vacuum prime packaged lift station and wet-well and the replacement of ~20 lf of undersized pressurized wastewater line. The existing activated sludge sewage treatment track was originally constructed in the mid-1970's and operates in parallel with a currently well-functioning treatment track. This project will require close coordination with normal and continuous treatment operations at the facility. The facility improvements include electrical and control upgrades, fine-screen installation, headworks modifications, oxidation ditch modifications, clarifier modifications, return/waste activated sludge pumps and vault modifications, general yard piping, valve replacement, storm drain system installation and other related requirements. Some of the improvements are direct replacement of equipment, while some work is new construction. The project site is located at 3015 Mission Beach Dr., Tulalip, WA 98271 in the Tulalip Bay area of the Tulalip Reservation. Some work items may be separated out as option items. Project completion time is currently defined to be 360 calendar days after the notice to proceed. This is NOT a request for proposal and there is no solicitation nor are there construction documents available at this time. Responses: When interested parties respond to this Sources Sought Notice, Indian Health Service requests the following information be provided: 1. Title email responses: "Sources Sought Response, Mission Beach WWS Improvements", 2. Company Name, 3. Address, 4. DUNs Number, 5. Contact Name, 6. Phone Number, 7. Business Size(s) and Eligible Socio-Economic Status' held (% held for Indian Owned), 8. Bonding Capacity (single and aggregate; individually as well as with business relationships, if planning to submit with others), 9. Any information that may be pertinent to the impending solicitation request. 10. Limit responses to three pages, Each response shall be reviewed by the Contracting Officer for the purpose of determining whether there exists reasonable expectation of obtaining a sufficient number of offers from responsible small businesses that are competitive in terms of market prices, quality, and delivery. A determination not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All information furnished to the Government in response to this notice will be used for review purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal and does not constitute any commitment by the Government. Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. All information submitted is subject to verification. Additional information may be requested to substantiate responses. All interested sources must respond to future solicitation announcements separately from responses to this market survey/sources sought notice.
