- This is a Request For Information (RFI), Market Research, for written information only. The government is researching the appropriate contract type (i.e. Firm-Fixed Price, Time-and-Material, cost type vehicles, et cetera); customarily utilized in the Market place for the following services. Please provide accompanying explanation for the contract type selection. This is not a solicitation for proposals and no contract will be awarded from this announcement. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information requests. No telephone calls will be accepted. In preparation for a future procurement, Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center (NAVFAC EXWC) requires contractor support to provide Technical and Support Services for the Integrated Logistic Support. Required services may be performed at any location world wide for any Federal Agencies that EXWC is supporting, but work will predominately take place at the contractor ™s facility. The purpose of this contract is to obtain various Integrated Logistic Support Services for: Developing, Reviewing and Maintaining various ILS Documentation and Data Bases; Conduct Validations, Studies and Training associated with specific logistic elements, Researching and obtaining Technical Manuals, Provisioning on-site Technical Support; and to obtain Technical Support Services for ILS. The task will fall into the following categories: Quality Assurance, Maintenance Planning, Provisioning Technical Documentation and Provisioning Plans, Depot Management, Supply Support, Support and Test Equipment, Training Documentation, Technical Data, Configuration Management, Technical Manual, Integrated Logistic Planning Support, Reliability, Maintainability, and Supportability Packaging, Handling, Storage and transportation, Informal Presentation for specific Subject Matter Training, Development of PMS Documentation, CDM Inventory and On-site Tech Support. Please submit your response concerning what type of contract vehicle is customarily utilized in the Market place for the above type of services pertaining to, Integrated Logistics Support (ILS). This announcement is not a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract; it is to request information on the various contract vehicles that are appropriately used in the Market Place for Integrated Logistics Support Services.
