- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center (MMAC), Research Innovation Technologies Administration (RITA), Transportation Safety Institute (TSI), Aviation Safety Division, intends to award a single-source Firm Fixed-Priced Purchase Order for instructional services for the United States Air Force (USAF) Operational Risk Management (ORM). The FAA intends to issue an award to K Y C Enterprises (DUNS: 159929199) of Enterprise, AL for the required instructional services. This procurement is considered to be a single-source due to specialized experience in this field. Purpose of Announcement: In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source via single-source procedures. This announcement is for informational purposes only, not a Solicitation or Request for Proposal. All questions pertaining to this announcement should be addressed in writing to the Contract Specialist, Alan Spaulding, via email to alan.spaulding@faa.gov or mailing address at FAA, MMAC, Office of Acquisition, MPB, AMQ-310, P.O. Box 25082, Oklahoma City, OK 73125. No phone calls please. Questions must be received no later than 03/13/2013, 8:00 a.m. central time. This Notice is for informational purposes for Minority, Women-Owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization, has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by a socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing. The maximum line of credit is $750,000.
