Description

Notice Type: Special Notice Synopsis: In accordance with FAR 8.402(f), and pursuant to the initiative to standardize the leasing of Endoscopes and related equipment implemented per VHA Directive 2009-004, VHA Handbook 1761.1 and the 4/19/2010 DUSHOM (10N) (WebCIMS No. 451818) memo, this modification adds the following items to FSS-BPA (VA243-BP-0151) awarded against Olympus America Inc. FSS Schedule contract (VA797P-2065D): Item #Description 13839 Aptimax Sterrad Sterilization Tray 99239 Aptimax Sterrad Sterilization Tray Mat Adding these items to the current BPA fulfills the requirement that all equipment must be compatible in all aspects with the existing Olympus system presently installed. The equipment must coordinate, connect and interface with the existing system. The equipment must be compatible with the presently owned capital equipment, software and accessories. This is a notice of intent and not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation is available for this requirement. Interested parties may submit a capability statement and pricing information for the requirement within 5 calendar days of the publication of this notice, to be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed BPA modification based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a separate competitive procurement.
