Description

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ, is procuring one (1) each sequential wavelength-dispersive X-Ray Fluorescent (XRF) Spectrometer. The Spectrometer will be used in the Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Robert Becker Lab, Bldg 2188, Patuxent River, Maryland. The Spectrometer will be designed for the analysis of ware metals found in jet fuels, hydraulic oils and other possible petrochemical applications, with capability added for the analysis of a variety of unknown samples, including mapping and small spot analysis capabilities. The Spectrometer shall be composed of the following: 1. Sequential XRF System (with a wavelength-dispersive XRF sequential spectrometer) 2. X-Ray Tube and Generator 3. Installation, Training, and Setup performed by vendor onsite The Government intends to award a Firm-Fixed-Price type contract via Full and Open Competition. This requirement shall be fulfilled by supplying "commercial items/services" as defined in Section 2.101 of the Federal Acquisition Regulations. An RFP will be posted on the NAVAIR System Command Solicitations webpage at: (http://www.navair.navy.mil/index.cfm?fuseaction=home.OpenSolicitations) The delivery schedule for this action will be 16-weeks After Delivery of Contract (ADC). This notice is NOT a Request for Proposal (RFP).
