- Description
- The Corps of Engineers (Corps) is continuing a pilot program to fertilize Dworshak Reservoir to balance the nutrient levels in the reservoir and to enhance reservoir productivity. This will require weekly applications of liquid fertilizer to 3 areas or zones of the reservoir. The total amount and type of fertilizer for the 2013 program is 40,000 gallons of 32-0-0 (urea ammonium nitrate) fertilizer. The Government could increase or decrease the amount of fertilizer during the course of the contract at the set price per gallon. The actual amount of fertilizer applied to the reservoir during the course of the season may vary from this schedule depending on biological responses to the application.
