The Center for Hepatitis and Liver Tissue Engineering at Stanford Medical School is uniquely qualified to provide this service because it has the capacity to perform all three tests that are required for this study (HDV antibody, HDV RNA and HDV genotyping) in expert fashion. Stanford University has worked on HDV and has extensive experience in developing quantitative viral assays for HDV, as well as assays for HDV genotyping. Out of the laboratories that perform testing for HDV, this is on the only laboratory known that also performs HDV genotyping. This is not a solicitation for competitive quotations. However, if any interested party believes they can meet the above requirement, they may submit a statement of capabilities.
