- This is a Sources Sought Notice - Market Research This is a Sources Sought Notice is to seek out Interested Vendors identified as Service Disabled Veteran Owned (SDVOSB), Veteran Owned Small Businesses (VOSB) and Small Businesses interested in bidding on this requirement. If interested in bidding, vendors should notify the Contracting Officer by emailing Leala.Jew@va.gov by the due date indicated on the notice. Synopsis of Work: Medical Transcription Services The Contractor shall furnish equipment, supplies, tools, materials, parts, hardware, software, phone lines, labor and supervision necessary to provide both a digital dictation system and transcription services for each VISN 21(Veterans Integrated Service Network) facility: Veteran Affairs (VA) Central California Health Care System (VACCHCS), Fresno, California; VA Northern California Health Care System (VANCHCS), VA Palo Alto Health Care System (VAPAHCS), Palo Alto, California; VA Pacific Islands Health Care System (VAPIHCS), Honolulu, Hawaii; San Francisco (SFVAMC) San Francisco, California; and VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System (VASNHCS), Reno, Nevada in strict accordance with this contract. Medical Transcription Services shall be provided for dictated material that includes a high incidence of technical terminology, and requires a comprehensive knowledge of the specialized vocabulary particular to a wide variety of medical fields. The Statement of Work (SOW) requires the Contractor to transcribe reports utilizing headers and footers and appropriate formats as provided by each facility. The Contractor shall also transmit and/or upload completed reports to VA using transmission and batch protocols provided by VA. VISN 21 facilities have a requirement for digital dictation, traditional and correction editing medical transcriptions services using vendor-supplied dictation equipment. The proposed NAICS code is 561410 and small business size is $7.0 million. The VA intends to award a Firm-Fixed Price Contract. Period of Performance: Base Year plus Four Option Years No formal solicitation document exists at this time.
