- Description
- The Naval Special Warfare Command/WARCOM Contracts, San Diego, CA intends to procure on an other than full and open competition basis (under authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1), as implemented by FAR Part 6.302-1), a firm fixed priced contract/order for M5-25 MOD 2 Partial Underwater Breathing Apparatus (excluding the breathing loop or oxygen bottle) and various associated parts/equipment. Product Service Code is 4240 and NAICS is 333912/500 employees. This requirement is sole source to Draeger Safety, Inc., 101 Technology Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15275. Draeger Safety, Inc. has been determined to be the sole contractor to manufacture and support the required product based on certification by the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA). All responsible sources must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database at the following website: https://www.sam.gov. This notice is not a request for competitive proposals; however, any firms believing that they can provide the part numbers indicated above may submit a written response to be received by the contracting officer no later than 15 days after the date of publication of this notice. It must clearly state the firm's ability to be responsive without compromising the quality, accuracy, or reliability of the system and associated parts/equipment without causing programmatic hardship.
