Description

Contractor shall provide all materials, equipment, labor, supervision and expertise necessary to Restripe Parking Lots & Upgrade Parking Lot Lights at the VA Health Care System, Alexandria, Louisiana. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of equipment as required by drawings and specifications. The project includes restriping parking spaces, painting directional signs, crosswalks, handicap parking symbols, "No Parking" on curbs, red fire lanes, removing all handicap "stickers" and replace with painted handicap symbols, and removing some of the existing pavement markings, demolition and installation of street lights as required by the Drawings & Specifications. The project involves restriping approximately 1,000 parking spaces throughout the Facility in three phases, demolition of approximately 25 street lights including poles & foundation, and installation of new street lights poles, foundations, conduits, wiring and controls. The 1st phase of the project is restriping parking lots which will require weekend work, the 2nd phase will require painting directional signs on the street and curbs after they are barricaded during daytime work hours, the 3rd phase is removing approximately 30 asphalt parking spots and install new concrete paving during daytime work hours. All work shall be performed in accordance to the project plans and specifications. The dollar magnitude is between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00. NAICS 236220 applies-size standard is $33.5 million. This acquisition is 100% set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). All offerors must be listed as "verified" in the VIP database, available in VETBIZ at http://www.vip.vetbiz.gov and must also be registered in System for Award Management SAMS data base under NAICS 236220 along with complete online Reps and Certs https://www.sam.gov in order to submit offers and be eligible for award. You must register as "Interested Vendor" at the fedbizopps website for solicitation. In order to receive e-mail notification of amendments, you must register in fedbizopps "To Receive Notification" for amendments. Amendments to this solicitation will not be mailed, but will be posted at the fedbizopps website. Offerors are responsible for obtaining solicitation from fedbizopps and acknowledging all amendments to this solicitation. Telephone requests will not be accepted. This is not an Invitation for Bid (IFB).
