- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Consolidated Mail Outpatient Pharmacy (CMOP) has a requirement to procure a Checking & Labeling Station (CLS) System. The offeror shall supply a system that is capable of applying labels to round and irregularly shaped medication containers according to the CMOP Standard Operating Procedures which will be handed out during the site visit. The system shall also apply labels in a flagged configuration when necessary. Please note, the definition of "system" as described within this solicitation consists of eight (8) Labeling Stations. If an offeror does not have a universal machine capable of receiving both round and irregular shaped objects, it is the offeror's responsibility to determine how many irregular shaped stations and round bottle stations will be needed to satisfy the requirements of the SOW. The system will need to occupy the existing facility footprint, integrate with current operations software, and minimize changes/additions to the current hardware and support equipment. The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, support, travel and all other items needed to perform services in connection with this activity. A site visit will be conducted on Wednesday, March 27, 2013 between the hours of 9:00 AM and 10:00 AM. Additional information is included in the Solicitation. The NAICS code for this solicitation is 333993 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. This solicitation is 100% small business set-aside. The Government anticipates awarding a firm fixed price contract. The CLS system shall perform in accordance with the Statement of Work that will be included in the solicitation. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which if timely received, shall be considered by this agency. Only one award will be issued for this solicitation. Solicitation Package VA797M-13-R-0042 shall be posted on the Federal Business Opportunities website (www.fbo.gov) on or about March 14, 2013. No solicitation packages will be mailed. Responses must be concise and be specifically directed to the requirement referenced above. It is the offeror's responsibility to monitor FBO for changes or amendments.
