- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), Mike Monroney Aeronautical Center proposes to acquire, under single source procedures, ARSR-4 Transmitter Cooling System Assemblies and Kits listed below. Each part is individual unique kits comprised of multiple sub-assemble parts for the ARSR-4 TCS system. P/N DESCRIPTION C31024-01 “ Compressor Replacement Kit NSN: 4310-01-610-4953 C31022-01 “ High Pressure Switch Retrofit Kit NSN: 5930-01-610-4960 001-017-0001 “ Blower Assembly NSN: 4140-01-563-5618 C31020-01 “ Blower VFD (VS1SP) Retrofit Replacement Kit NSN: 5340-01-610-4971 002-008-0001 “ Condenser Fan Assembly NSN: 4420-01-563-5632 C31021-01 “ Condenser VFD (VS1SP) Replacement Kit NSN: 5340-01-610-4979 In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System, AMS 3.2.2.4, the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the basis of the FAA's decision to contract with a selected source when it is determined to be in the best interest of the FAA. This procurement is considered to be single-sourced based on RAE Corporation supplied these assemblies and kits as part of the original design. The skills, personnel, tools, and equipment are already in place at RAE Corp to provide these units. The assemblies and kits are not normal off the self-COTS parts. This announcement is for informational purposes only and not a Solicitation/Request for Proposal. This requirement will be awarded to RAE Corporation and is not available for full and open competition.
