This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Solicitation Number W81EWF23569415 is being issued as a request for quotes (RFQ) with intent to award to award as a simplified acquisition. The solicitation document and incorporated provision and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2005-60. This requirement is 100% set-aside to small business under NAICS 334516 with a size standard of 500 employees. The US Army Corps Engineers (USACE), Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC), Vicksburg, MS, Geotechnical and Structures Laboratory has a requirement for the following: ERDC needs to purchase one Portable Gyratory Asphalt Compactor that is Pine Instruments' AFGB1A or equal to based on the salient characteristics and specifications listed in the Statement of Work. Delivery of the equipment shall be ASAP or NLT 1 April 2013. ***PLEASE SEE ATTACHED STATEMENT OF WORK LOCATED UNDER quote mark ADDITIONAL DOCUMENTATION quote mark *** Please provide quote as follows: CLIN 0001: Description: Portable Gyratory Asphalt Compactor, Quantity: 1, Unit: Each, Total Price: $_________ In accordance with FAR clause 52.212-2, award shall be made to the responsible offeror whose quote is determined to be the Lowest Price, Technically Acceptable. Offerors shall submit technical data on the item quotes to include but not limited to technical brochures, literature, etc. in order to determine whether technically acceptable.
