- Request for access to explicit documents The Department of Defense Dependent Schools-Europe (DoDDS-E) Procurement Division intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Student Transportation Security Services and related services to support DoDDS-E schools throughout Europe using the Tradeoff Process in FAR Part 15. Performance for this requirement shall be within the Southwest Asia Sector which consists of Bahrain and Turkey. It is anticipated that the resultant contract(s) shall consist of one base period, and the possibility of four one-year option periods. The contract type is a firm-fixed price and an indefinite delivery/requirements contract. An award will be made to the responsible offeror who represents the best value to the Government. The solicitation is unrestrictive. It is the Government's intention to publicize the solicitation (with explicit access) for the Southwest Asia Sector on FedBizOps on/about 3 April 2013. To obtain access to the solicitation once posted, companies must register and obtain a userid and password from www.fbo.gov and in addition, submit a Solicitation Restricted Access Request. This form must be completed and returned by those interested and eligible to submit proposals before access to restricted documents will be granted. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring these sites to ensure you have the most up to date information about this acquisition. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website will provide downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561612 - Security Guards and Patrol Services and the applicable small business size standard is $19.0 million. All contractors doing business with the Federal Government must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database. The website for registration is www.sam.gov. The anticipated effective award date is June 01, 2013.
