- Description
- The Federal Bureau of Prisons, U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, Springfield, Missouri, intends to make a single award to the successful vendor meeting all qualifications to remove two (2) existing pad-mounted switchgears and replacing with two (2) new pad-mounted switchgears provided by the government. Vendors are responsible for providing all parts and equipment necessary to remove existing, as well as install and correctly connect the new switchgear equipment in accordance with the specifications and delivery schedule identified in the soliciation. Performance will be at the U.S. Medical Center for Federal Prisoners, 1900 West Sunshine Street, Springfield, Missouri, 65807. Location of the site is outside the secure perimeter fence. The contract type is a firm-fixed price, FOB Destination and is reserved 100% for Small Business. The Government will award to the responsible contractor whose offer, conforming to the solicitation, is considered to be most advantageous to the Government. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION. The solicitation will be available on or about March 20, 2013, and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fbo.gov. All future information concerning this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring this site to ensure you have the most up-to-date information about this solicitation. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The anticipated date for receipt of quotations is on or about April 3, 2013. Payments will be made using Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT). All offerors must have a valid Duns and Bradstreet Number (DUNS) and be registered in the Systems for Award Management (SAM) database prior to award, during performance, and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. Lack of registration in the SAM database may make an offeror ineligible for award.
