Description

This Notice of intent to Sole Source is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation documents are available. Under Statutory Authority 41 U.S.C. 253(g), the Birmingham VA Medical Center intends to procurement Portable Reverse Osmosis System on an other than full and open competition basis with MAR COR Medical Services Inc DBA as MAR COR Purification, 4450 Township Line Road, Shippack, PA 19474 This is a one-time equipment purchase. This procurement is for 2 Heat Disinfecting Portable Reverse Osmosis Units with installation kits, two carbon filter kits, and two carts and cart assemblies. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirements. Contract is firm fixed price and the NAICS Code is 333318. This Notice of Intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitations documents are available and telephone requests will not be honored. However, if a firm believes it can meet the requirements it must furnish information about its products and services, as well as references from other customers who are using these products and service, to the Contracting Officer within six (6) calendar days from the date of publication of this synopsis. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirements. Information must be sent to the Connie Ganier, Contracting Specialist, NCO 7, Birmingham, VA Medical Center via e-mail at connie.ganier@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. If no responses are received, the contracting specialist will proceed with the sole source procurement with MAR COR Medical Services Inc.
