- Description
- A. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. The U.S. Department of State's Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL) will be hosting the first annual INL Partnership Forum on Tuesday, May 14, 2013, from 9:00am to 1:00pm in the George C. Marshall Center of the U.S. Department of State. The mission of INL is to minimize the impact of international crime and illegal drugs on the United States and its citizens through providing effective foreign assistance and through fostering global cooperation. The forum will provide an opportunity to learn first-hand about our international criminal justice assistance and rule of law programs and meet INL program managers. INL's senior leaders will provide an overview of mission and program priorities during a plenary session followed by an informal meet-and-greet session with INL Bureau program officers. The forum is an outreach event; no solicitation document exists at this time. B. Schedule: 8:00am Doors Open and Registration Begins 9:00am - 11:00am Plenary Session 11:00am - 1:00pm Meet-and-Greet with INL Program Offices C. Registration: Seating in the George C. Marshall Center auditorium is limited; therefore, only 200 individuals from training and service organizations working in the international criminal justice and rule of law arenas will be registered to attend the plenary session. We request organizations RSVP by April 5, 2013, and limit their RSVPs to no more than two individuals for the plenary session. The option for additional slots for participating in the informal meet-and-greet session with INL program officers will be assessed after the initial RSVP process has been completed. RSVPs with name, organization, and countries in which your organization has worked in the above programmatic arenas to Ashley Griffiths via email: AshleyG@webstergroupinc.com. You will be notified by April 12, 2013, whether there is space to attend the event, and if availability permits, you will be provided with registration and day-of-event instructions.
