Description

This synopsis is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) page located at http://www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce on Line (NECO) site located at https://www.neco.navy.mil. While it is understood that FBO is the single point of entry for posting of synopses and solicitations to the internet, NECO is the alternative in case FBO is unavailable. Please feel free to use either site to access information posted by NSWC Crane. THIS NOTICE IS PROVIDED FOR INFORMATION PURPOSES ONLY. THIS OPPORTUNITY IS AVAILABLE ONLY TO THE CONTRACTOR UNDER N00164-12-C-JN23. The Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Crane Division intends to modify the referenced firm-fixed-price contract to procure a quantity of 500/each, M72 Laser Range Plates. The contract was awarded on an other than full and open competition basis to Nammo Talley, Inc. (Cage: 12116) of 4051 North Higley Road, Mesa, AZ 85215-1210, under the statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(4) as implemented by FAR 6.302-4, international agreement. Inspection and acceptance shall occur at the origin. Delivery terms shall be F.O.B. destination. NSWC, Crane Division does not currently own or have in its possession, an approved technical data package for the required supply items. Therefore, specifications, plans, or drawings relating to the procurement described herein are not available and cannot be furnished by the Government; please do not submit requests. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation which shall be considered by the agency. A determination by the Government to not compete the anticipated contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. To be eligible for award, contractors must be properly registered in the System for Award Management (SAM). Offerors may obtain information on SAM registration and annual confirmation requirements by calling 1-866-606-8220 (1-334-206-7828 for international calls) or via the internet at https://www.acquisition.gov. In accordance with FAR 4.1201, prospective contractors shall also complete electronic annual representations and certifications at ORCA accessed via https://www.acquisition.gov in conjunction with required registration in the SAM database. The solicitation and all changes to the requirement that occur prior to the closing date will be provided directly to Nammo Talley, Inc. and those offerors that submitted a capability statement, proposal, or quotation. No hard copies of the solicitation will be mailed. Interested sources must request the document via e-mail, from the government POC listed below. The government point of contact is Mr. Matthew S.
