Description

This special notice is being posted to both the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) website located at www.fbo.gov and the Navy Electronic Commerce On-Line (NECO) website located at www.neco.navy.mil. The Navy has a requirement for the design, fabrication, assembly, inspection and prototype test of a power module from a solid-state transmitter for the AN/SPS-49 system. The Naval Surface Warfare Center Crane anticipates the award of two (2) Job Orders (JOs) to existing Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) holders. The JOs will cover a period of performance of twelve (12) months. The BOAs cover a five-year period to procure radar systems basic science and/or engineering research and development. The JOs will be awarded on a competitive basis between current BOA holders. Requests for a proposal will be released to existing BOA holders on or about 15 April 2013. Job Orders will be awarded on or about 08 August 2013.
