Description
The Office of the Chief Information Officer, NIH, is seeking capability statements from organizations (NAICS 812930 Parking Lot and Garages) This is not a solicitation announcement. This is a sources sought synopsis only. The purpose of this sources sought synopsis is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to the above NAICS code. Requirements and Tasks: It is the intent of the Center for Information Technology (CIT), National Institutes of Health (NIH), to negotiate for supplemental vehicle parking for its Federal employees. The Contract shall provide vehicle parking which meets all of the following specifications: •An "authorized individual" is herein defined as a CIT Federal employee whose duty station is 10401 Fernwood Road and who has been approved by the COR to park a vehicle in the Contractor's parking facility. •The physical location of the Contractor's parking facility is 6720C Rockledge Drive, Bethesda, Maryland. This is within a required one-block distance from 10401 Fernwood Road for safety reasons when authorized individuals work before or after normal business hours and respond to emergency situations. •Parking spaces in the Contractor's parking facility shall be unreserved. •Authorized individuals parking in the Contractor's parking facility shall have unfettered access to their parked vehicles. •The Contractor's parking facility must have 24-hour, 7 days/week entry and exit access to accommodate authorized individuals who work early mornings or late evenings. •A parking attendant need not be provided. •The Contractor shall provide an electronic access control system that activates an entrance gate(s) at the Contractor's parking facility. •The Contractor shall provide and maintain an electronic access device (access cards, key fobs, and/or token coins) that allows authorized individuals to enter and exit the Contractor's parking facility at all times. •Upon notification of a lost electronic access device, the Contractor shall provide an authorized individual with one replacement device at no charge during a 12-month period. In the event that an authorized individual notifies the Contractor of the loss of a replacement access device during a 12-month period, the Contractor shall provide a second replacement access device and be allowed to directly charge the authorized individual at a fair market price. •While parked in the Contractor's parking facility, authorized individuals shall be allowed to self-park and lock their vehicles. •The Contractor shall not require authorized individuals to leave their vehicle keys with a parking attendant. •On a monthly basis, the Contractor shall provide the COR with a report (in electronic format) that lists the number of parking spaces being charged to CIT under this acquisition and the names of each authorized individual currently parking in the Contractor's parking facility as of the date of the report. Information Requested: Sources having the ability to provide the services described above shall provide clear and comprehensive information supporting their experience, and past performance.
