- The Department of Labor, Mine Safety & Health Administration, intends to award a sole source contract under the authority of FAR 6.302-1(a)(2)(i)(B)(C) - Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements to Frontier West Virginia, 3 High Ridge Park, Stamford, CT 06905-1337 Service Contracts for Frontier West Virginia. The National Mine Health and Safety Academy requires telephone service for every day operations Telephone services and is a mission essential item. Telephone service is required to communicate with our stakeholders, employees and the general public. There is a main telephone number associated with this service and approximately seventy-seven lines included in the total of phone lines. This phone service is located at USDOL - MSHA - National Mine Safety and Health Academy, 1301 Airport Rd, Beaver, WV 25813. This action will result in a firm fixed price contract. The period of performance will commence on or about April 1, 2013 for a twelve (12) month period ending March 31, 2014. The NAICS code for this requirement is 517110 with a size standard of 1,500 employees. This Notice of Intent to award a sole source contract is not a request for competitive proposals. There is no solicitation document. No RFP will be available for competitive proposals. Phone calls will not be accepted.
