Description

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Contractor will provide materials and labor. Installation of Mannington vinyl ALS 031/MANNINGTON Nature's Paths heavy duty 10 years warranty commercial product. Color Oakford strip Nutmeg #12164. lock solid heirloom cherry 5 inch plank. 3/4 inch round molding. The work areas in building #20 consist of 493 square feet. There are two rooms and one hallway rooms #101, 103, and 104. Contractors will move furniture as needed. This is a historical building so damage to existing floor must be kept to a minimal. EXISTING CONDITIONS Building #20 occupied 24 hours a day VA Medical Center 400 Fort Hill Ave, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Work will be performed during normal business hours 1.Access to work will be with escort of engineering staff. 2.The contractor will provide storage for all materials. VA will not receive or store. This procurement has been set aside 100% to Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns. Offers from other than Service-Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business concerns will NOT be considered and shall be rejected. This solicitation will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder. Solicitation packages will be available via FedBizOpps.gov on or about April 5, 2013. All questions concerning this project MUST be in writing and NO phone calls will be accepted. Project Cost Range is less than $25,000. Bidders are encouraged to attend the Pre-Bid Meeting and walk through at the Canandaigua VA Medical Center. The date, time, and place will be announced on the solicitation. NO OTHER WALK THROUGH WILL BE SCHEDULED. Bidders should re-visit the website located at www.fedbizopps.gov periodically to look for updates. All requests for information are required to be submitted in writing to the Contracting Officer and shall be received prior to the bid opening by the date specified in the solicitation. NO hardcopies, NO telephone inquiries or questions, and ONLY in writing. Award is subject to availability of funds. Emailed bids are accepted.
