- Description
- This contract action was accomplished using other than competitive procedures because this is a task/delivery order where an exception to fair opportunity requirements was approved as this is a follow-on order to a competitive initial order (FAR 8.405-6(b)(2) or 16.505(b)(2)(iii). The US Army Contracting Command (ACC), National Capital Region (NCR), Alexandria, VA on behalf of the US Army Office of the Surgeon General (OTSG), under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 2304c(b)(3) as implemented in FAR 16.505(b)(2)(i)(C) intends to issue a follow-on task order sole source to Pragmatics, Inc. for Information Technology Support Services (ITSS) in the interest of economy and efficiency because it is a logical follow-on to an order already issued under the contract. The NAICS code for this requirement is 541513 with a size standard of $25.5 million. The period of performance is a base period of two months and two one month options. This sole source order will facilitate the completion of the evaluation of the large amount of information received in response to the full and open competitive solicitation set aside for small business and the best value selection resulting in a full term stand alone contract.
