- The Fleet Logistics Center Jacksonville, Contracting Department intends to solicit on a sole source basis to Bellsouth/AT&T Southeast to provide telecommunications voice and data circuits beyond the BellSouth/AT&T established demarcation sites utilizing existing facilities. Contract scope includes resolving trouble calls, and providing minor repair and maintenance services for the base telephone-cabling infrastructure. The period of performance for this contract will be a base period of (12) twelve months, with (4) One-year Options beginning 01 May 2013. The Navy intends to solicit for a Firm Fixed Priced contract. This procurement is a sole source acquisition with Bellsouth/AT&T Southeast, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Bellsouth/AT&T Southeast is the only known provider of these services. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. The applicable NAICS code for this requirement is 517110. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. While, all proposals received within ten days after date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government, a determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
