It can be accessed by clicking on the 'Additional Information' link below. *** THIS IS NOT AN INVITATION FOR BID OR REQUEST FOR PROPOSAL *** The Jacksonville District Corps of Engineers will hold a Pre-Solicitation Webinar on Tuesday, March 19, 2013, at 2:00 PM, EST regarding potential tropical storm Debbie and Hurricane Sandy beach renourishment/rehabilitation projects. The purpose of this teleconference is to discuss with industry the acquisition strategy for this potentially large scale rehabilitation program as well as discuss any questions, concerns or comments industry may have regarding the upcoming solicitation(s). It should be noted that the Jacksonville District has not received construction funds for any rehabilitation project at this time, however it is understood that if and when funds are received the Jacksonville District will move swiftly to award and construct these projects. This will be the first of three (3) meetings held on subject projects. The goal of this teleconference is to work proactively with industry, to gain a common understanding of the requirements and a path forward for this emergency work The teleconference will begin with Jacksonville District personnel reviewing the list of projects proposed for rehabilitation work and the proposed acquisition strategy for this work. The District will seek industry recommendations, respond to industry questions, comments and concerns and additional issues may be presented at that time. Subsequent meetings with industry will include pre-solicitation meetings and pre-proposal meetings which will include more definitized scopes with information made available prior to each call. The total number of available incoming phone lines is limited; therefore, it is requested that each firm utilize a minimum number of lines (preferably only one or two) for those individuals participating. The first time you use the Web Meeting Service, you will need to download the client software. Web Meeting help and software downloads can be found at: https://www.webmeeting.att.com In order to prepare, in advance, a list of individuals participating in this teleconference is required, it is requested that an e-mail be sent to Beau Corbett (beau.corbett@us.army.mil) with the following information: (1) name and address of your firm; (2) the total number of phone lines your firm will be using; (3) name and title of each individual participating; (4) their telephone number and e-mail address; and (5) any questions you wish to address during the teleconference. Please include a statement in this e-mail indicating whether or not the Jacksonville District may include this information when posting and/or distributing the list of attendees.
