- PR 0047746131. This solicitation will contain NSN 5895-01-251-8683, Switching Group, Audio. Request for Proposal SPE4A6-13-R-0516, is for a Firm Fixed Price, Definite Quantity Contract for a quantity of 167 each. Solicitation will be issued as an unrestricted procurement utilizing Other than Full and Open Competition. Delivery: FOB Destination, Inspection and Acceptance at Origin. Quantity variance is plus/minus 0%. The requested delivery will be 180 DARO based on PLT estimate. Approved source is CAGE 94987, P/N 235870-1. NSN is not a Critical Safety Item per SAP review March 18, 2013. This is a commercial item and will be solicited under FAR part 12 procedures. Export Control applies to this item. The final contract award decision will be based upon a combination of price and past performance. A Subcontracting Plan is not required. Formal Cost and Pricing Data is not required. EEO clearance is not required as the dollar threshold has not been met. Progress Payments are not included as conditions at FAR 32.501-2(c) have not been met. Suppliers must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) and Representations and Certifications Application (ORCA) utilizing the System for Award Management (SAM) database at web portal www.sam.gov. This web portal consolidates the capabilities of the CCR and ORCA. Annual updates to suppliers' registration will be required. Synopsis was posted to Federal Business Opportunities on March 18, 2013. Solicitation issue date is April 1, 2013. Solicitation closing date is April 30, 2013. The estimated award date is May 17, 2013.
