- Description
- The South Dakota Army National Guard (SDARNG) has a requirement for contractor served, cafeteria style meals. The Contractor shall provide the meals as specified in the 14 Day Menu or Government approved Menu. Meals will be all-you-can-eat quantities for all meal items except the meat entr e (portion size of meat entr e shall be stated within the solicitation). Contractor shall provide all subsistence, supplies, and labor for the commercial meals. This shall be a quote mark turnkey quote mark operation where the Contractor shall utilize a Government facility and miscellaneous food preparation equipment under accountability. The contractor shall pay a daily use fee for the facility. Any other equipment deemed necessary shall be provided by the Contractor. Government facility to be utilized is Freedom Hall (Bldg 159) at the Regional Training Institute, Ft. Meade, SD, (which is in close proximity to Sturgis, SD). The proposal schedule will require proposals for each of the following catagories: Breakfast Meal, Lunch Meal, Dinner Meal, and Sack Meal. The meals will be required during the approximate time frame of 31May - 27Jul13. Includes 2 potential Option Periods. The Government will evaluate each prospective offer utilizing proposed costs for all meals based on the tentative numbers provided. The contractor must be found acceptable based on the factors listed in Clause 52.212-2 in the Solicitation. The awardee shall meet all requirements of a food preparation/serving business within the State of South Dakota. No award shall be made unless the Contracting Officer makes confirmation of affirmative determination of responsibility for the potential contractor. Potential contractor must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) prior to award of contract. This acquisition shall be 100% small business set aside. Applicable NAICS 722310 (formerly SIC 5812) for Food Service Contractors, the small business size standard is $35.5M. All interested parties are strongly encouraged to participate in the site visit, scheduled for 5Mar13. RFP solicitation response date is 12Mar13.
