- Packing/Crating/Transportation Draft PWS - drafted by JPPSO THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME. REQUEST FOR A SOLICITATION WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE. This sources sought notice is in support of market research being conducted by the United States Air Force, 27th Contracting Squadron, Cannon AFB, NM, to identify potential sources available for a proposed firm fixed price contract. The proposed North American Industry Classification Systems (NAICS) code is 488991, which has a corresponding small business size Standard of $25.5 million dollars. The Government will use this information to determine the best acquisition strategy for this procurement. The Government requests that interested parties respond to this notice if applicable, and identify your small business status to the identified NAICS code. This sources sought notice is to notify companies that the U. S. Air Force is seeking sources for packing, crating, and drayage of household goods using the Direct Procurement Method (DPM) in accordance with Department of Defense Transportation Regulation, including Part IV Personal Property and applicable appendixes and attachments. The requirement is listed in the Performance Work Statement (PWS). The attached PWS is a general indication of the scope of work that is currently provided at Cannon AFB. All interested firms should notify this office in writing by email of your interest in this notice. Responses should include identification of company, cage code, business size & status, proof of experience, and capability and possible advantages for the government contracting with the contractor for this service. This is not a notice of announcement for solicitation. The Government will not pay for any material provided in response to this market research nor will the government return any data provided. All interested small businesses are required to respond to this sources sought announcement via email no later than 22 Apr 2013 @ 12:00 p.m. MST. Responses shall not exceed 3 pages and must include company point of contact, email address, and telephone number. The information provided in the response to this sources sought announcement will be used to finalize the acquisition strategy for this requirement.
