Description

SF 18 Solicitation N00421-13-T-0258 is issued as a synopsis/solicitation. The Government intends to purchase on a firm fixed-price basis, and to solicit and negotiate the proposed purchase order on a sole source basis with TRICOM Research, under the authority implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 6.302-1. The product must be compatible in all aspects with existing equipment. Tricom has the proprietary rights on technical data, design, and product documentations of their products. The requirement is a Total Set-Aside for small business under the authority of FAR Part 52.219-6 ALT 1, FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. Offerors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database prior to submission of an offer to be considered for award of any DoD contract. This may be accomplished electronically at http://www.sam.gov See RFQ attached Interested small business may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all proposals received by 28-March-2013 by 08:00 AM will be considered by the Government. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon the responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the government. Information received will normally be considered for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for any information received.
