- The Army Contracting Command Rock Island (ACC-RI) is seeking sources that can provide the following Brand Name or equal Optical Comparator: Optical Gaging Products, Inc., SmartScope 302. The NAICS code for this requirement is 333314. The applicable small business size standard is 500 employees. The offered Optical Comparator must meet the following characteristics: 1. Travel axis range of (X)300 x (Y)300 x (Z)250mm 2. Elevated Bridge Design 3. Moves in the X, Y & Z travel axis 4. Includes Zoom Lens (zoom to minimum of 35X level) 5. Includes MeasureX Software 6. Flatpanel LCD Monitor (Minimum 20 quote mark ), keyboard and mouse 7. Computer must have a minimum configuration Pentium Processor @2.6 GHz, 1GB RAM, 40GB Hard Drive, 1.44 MB Floppy Drive, CD-ROM Drive, Parallel, serial, and USB 2.0 ports, on board 10/100 LAN and use operating system Microsoft Windows XP Professional. Installation, Calibration, and Training of approximately 3 government employees on the proper use of the Optical Comparator, is also required. Delivery of this item will be to Crane Army Ammunition Activity, Crane, IN; training will also be performed at this site. Respondents to this Sources Sought announcement should provide the following information: 1. Company name, CAGE Code, Point of Contact, Phone Number, Email Address, business size status relative to NAICS 333314 2. Brand name and Part/Model Number of Optical Comparator 3. Any relevant product literature/spec sheets on the Optical Comparator to demonstrate compliance with the characteristics listed above This notice is for planning purposes only and does not constitute an Invitation for Bids, Request for Proposals, a Solicitation, a Request for Quotes, or an indication the Government will contract for the items contained in this announcement.
