Description

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation. The Food and Drug Administration (FDA)/ Pacific Regional Laboratory, Northwest (PRLNW) has a requirement (BRAND NAME OR EQUAL, FAR 52.211-6) to purchase a Tabletop scanning electron microscope (SEM) with integrated Energy Dispersive X-ray Spectroscopy (EDS), one(1) detector- Bruker Quanta 70 X-ray Acquisition for X-ray elemental analysis, one (1) TM-1 Variable Tilt-Stage, one (1) X/Y Motorized Stage w/Color Camera Navigation, one (1) Universal Adaptor for TM-Auto(Attachment specimen), one (1) 3-D View software upgrade to existing units, one (1) Quartz PCI Full (Software), and one (1) Cryo Adaptor for TM-3000. The government is also seeking a maintenance agreement for two years after the equipment warranty expires. These will be priced as Option Year I and Option Year II. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, (STREAMLINED PROCEDURES FOR EVALUATION AND SOLICITATION FOR COMMERCIAL ITEMS) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. QUESTIONS DEADLINE: All questions shall be submitted via email Shaukat.Mirza@fda.hhs.gov by 5:00 pm EASTERN TIME on 27 March 2013. RFQ Due Date: All quotes and revisions shall be submitted via email Shaukat.Mirza@fda.hhs.gov by 5:00 PM EASTERN TIME on 03 April 2013. Please see the attached combined synopsis/solicitation.
