Description
Announcement for an Industry Day to Support the Request for Information - Sources Sought posted under Solicitation W15P7T-13-R-0002 on 05 September 2012. Amendment 0006 to RFI W15P7T-13-R-0002 is issued to augment the Sources Sought Announcement with an Industry Day open to all interested sources, scheduled for 24 April 2013 at Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD. The Industry Day is for planning purposes only; this is not a request for Quotations or Proposals. No solicitation document exists and a formal solicitation may or may not be issued by the Government as a result of this Industry Day. The Government will not be liable for any preparation, participation, or travel costs associated with this event. Interested parties are responsible for all costs in preparation and attendance at this event. The Industry Day is designed to allow all industry partners interested in the requirement described in the sources sought announcement to register to participate in a structured forum session. All interested parties must express their intent to attend via email (Point of Contact Information below) NO LATER THAN NOON of 10 April 2013. Please include the Company Name, number of persons attending, names of persons attending and titles, telephone numbers of each person, and email addresses. Upon receipt of intent, instructions for registration will be provided. Registered attendees of the Industry Day may submit questions via email (Word Document preferred) NO LATER THAN 1200 hours on 11 April 2013. The questions will be answered at Industry Day, with the author of each question remaining anonymous. The Industry Day session will be structured with a brief introduction about PM Mission Command. A brief Contracting overview will also be presented. Following the Contracting overview, a technical presentation consisting of PM MC Logistics and UFSS Overview will be presented. In response to this request for information, the Army team anticipates a significant amount of inputs and questions, but also anticipates similarity in inputs and questions. A Question and Answer period will take place at the end of Industry Day. The Industry Day will be hosted in a structured forum. No one-on-one sessions will be conducted. The sources of all questions submitted via email will be kept confidential. Once all questions and answers have been presented at Industry Day, all registered attendees will be given the opportunity to submit anonymous follow-up questions, as the Government will provide a drop box. The follow-up questions will be reviewed and answered at a later date. The original round of questions and answers presented on Industry Day as well as the follow-up questions and answers will be made publically available on a date to be determined. Visitors to APG will need to pre-plan their access to the post. Details regarding access to APG, directions, location, and time will be provided upon receipt of intent to register and attend. All questions must be submitted by NO LATER THAN 1200 hours 11 April 2013. No additional questions will be accepted after 11 April 2013. Upon receipt, the Government will provide interested parties with registration instructions, confirmation to attend, and details of Industry Day. 11 April 2013: Any questions to be addressed anonymously at Industry Day must be submitted NO LATER THAN 1200 hours 11 April 2013. 24 April 2013: Industry Day at APG, MD.
