Description

Emergency tornado debris removal in Hickman County, TN. The cleanup site is Site 1 Coble This project consists of exigency woody and non-woody tornado debris removal and disposal along a stream channel in Hickman County, Tennessee. There are numerous homes, roads, and a state highway adjacent to, or crossing the stream channel that has been impaired. The flow capacity of the stream has been greatly reduced by the debris clogging the stream channel, and potentially restricting floodplain flows. There has been a large increase in the chances that these homes, roads, and highway will be flooded and received additional damages if a moderate rain event moves through this area prior to exigency debris removal and disposal being completed. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS INCLUDING THE SOLICITATION, BID SCHEDULE, SPECS AND DRAWINGS, AND INFORMATION FOR OFFERORS WILL BE POSTED WITHIN 2 DAYS. Estimated price range is between $100,000 and $250,000. A SITE SHOWING WILL BE HELD 9:00 A.M. LOCAL TIME WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27, 2013 at the following location: Church of Christ - Coble 114 Briar Pond Road Centerville, TN 37033 This procurement is a Total Small Business Set Aside Sealed bids are due by 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013. Bids will not be accepted by fax or email. Contractors are to be registered in www.sam.gov with a DUNS number prior to award.
