- Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) Troop Support Medical Supply Chain is hereby soliciting offers to potentially select multiple reverse distributor contractors to provide services to all eligible Department of Defense (DoD) only customers located in both the CONUS and OCONUS regions. This will be the third generation (GEN III) of the Pharmaceutical Reverse Distribution Program (PRDP) awarded by DLA. The awarded contractors will be responsible for providing the reverse distribution process, while remaining compliant with all applicable laws and regulations related to the industry. The goal is to assist DOD customers worldwide in obtaining maximize credit value and pharmacy efficiency. The GEN III DOD Pharmaceutical Reverse Distribution Program will have a base period of 15 months with three 15 month option periods for a potential five year total contract period. The contract value is estimated at $33,251,434. The acquisition will result in a Multiple Award, Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract. Based on the standards of the awarding NAICS code (424210), this award will be made on a competitive, unrestricted basis. Competition will be sought, promoted, and sustained through the issuance of a competitive Request for Proposal (RFP) on a full and open competition basis for those offerors that submit proposals in accordance with the issued solicitation. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards if it is in the Government's best interest. The anticipated solicitation date is on or about 15 April 2013.
